Statement

In the age of selfies, technology allows almost anyone to become their own subject with nothing more than a phone, while social media carefully curates what the amateur photographer chooses to reveal. Yet, I am drawn to moments that the subjects themselves might overlook—instances that seem trivial in contrast to grand events like weddings or exotic travels.

My central aim is simply to look, to explore this immediate world until I uncover something ineffable in the fabric of everyday life and translate it into a visual language. Through my photographs, I seek to reclaim those fleeting, uncelebrated moments—instances that make up life itself but often escape careful observation.

My lens focuses on the in-between, those seconds when a person is caught in the act of “nothingness.” In doing so, I aim to give them a voice, to frame the unnoticed as meaningful. My curiosity as an artist is drawn not to the milestones that mark our existence but to the quiet, unguarded interludes that define what it means to be human.
